Microsoft are considering offering Windows 7 which could run from USB flash drives, allowing for an easier upgrade of a users netbooks.
Although a USB flash drive could offer the simplest way to move a netbook to Windows 7, there are could be other options available to users.
Microsoft are aware that upgrading netbooks can be difficult and are looking at new ways to make this easier.
Microsoft already offer a downloadable version of Windows to buy, technically they could do the same with Windows 7 and allow users to put the copy onto a USB Drive.
Windows Vista was not suitable for netbooks and because of this Microsoft had to continue offering Windows XP to users of netbooks.
